THE LEADER COACH PART OF THE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS

Coaching is proving to be one of the most important competencies within leadership development. Organizations are embracing coaching, not only for leadership development, but also as a way for leaders to breed new leaders within the organization and create an atmosphere of empowerment and ownership. Organizations need to foster creativity and innovation while relying more on delegation to act fast. Accordingly, the traditional leadership styles do not support this objective. It is through coaching that leaders are able to bring about the change needed by organizations.   It is reported that leaders who have undergone coaching or coach training drive the change with higher efficiency across the organization as they start having capabilities to unlock the team’s potential and draw out creativity and instill ownership.   The Leader Coach Program is a robust system exploring Leadership Impact based on coaching perspective, while clarifying the role of Human Interaction Factors. The program’s innovative techniques significantly enhance the creativity, depth, speed and precision of individual & team coaches and business leaders in various situations including group facilitation or conflict resolution; cultivating greater presence, flexibility and range in human interactions and communication.   Drawing from fields as diverse as Positive Psychology & Neuroscience, it is the ideal training for career focused future leaders.   Leader Coach gives leaders and facilitators the tools and insights into how their impact directly transforms others using relationship. It broadens the range, depth, and dynamics of the diverse and sometimes complex relationships they work with. Leaders learn how to recognize deep-seated patterns and emerging trends, able to coach through conflicts while harnessing creativity.  

Course Structure

This program is delivered in 4 days workshop format (3 days intermediary & 1 day advanced after 90 days) & virtual sessions. The program focuses on instilling a core paradigm shift from managers to leaders:  
  • Paradigm shift 1: Manager to Manager-Mentor
  • Paradigm shift 2: Manager-Mentor to Leader Coach This program offers 32 hours of robust leadership engagement supported with on the job assignments to ensure the program dynamics are shifted on the ground

Performance management became the core focus, however, organizations soon found out that performance management is not only about the process of drafting strategies and mapping SMART goals. CAREER COACHING, FOR HR PROFESSIONALS, RECRUITMENT MANAGERS AND STUDENT GUIDANCE SUPERVISORS ASPIRING TO ENHANCE THEIR CARREER WITH COACHING.

More than ever, career coaching is becoming more sought after as people are discovering that they are ending up in areas where they are not totally fulfilled. Career coaching enables the individual to make the right decisions in making career choices that have a great impact on his/her life.

  Career choices come across employees in organizations, high school students, university students, or even post graduate university students. Surely, the earlier the career choices are explored with what really counts to individuals, the more aware the individual is in making the choices.   Career coaches are specialists in providing career guidance. Career coaches support in setting a career plan and in allocating the best job opportunities by using various assessment tests such as personality instruments - Abilities Test, MBTI, the 360 Assessment, RAISEC test, and many others. They assist individuals in crafting their resume, preparing for job interviews, and selecting the best job options on hand.   This career coaching certification program is designed to support individuals to make career coaching part of their profession:  
  • For HR Managers: To support company employees in making career choices as part of their succession and career path.
  • For Recruitment Managers: To support in the selection and matching process to have a winning at both ends.

The program is delivered in 6 days workshop format supported by virtual sessions. This program offers 80 hours of coaching skills building and best practices for career coaching. Participants will take a dive into the coaching field and the application of career coaching with real time clients.

      Credentialing Pathways

      The International Coaching Federation (ICF) is the leading global organization for coaches and coaching. ICF is dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high standards, providing independent certification and building a worldwide network of trained coaching professionals.

      ICF Credential-holders are part of a self-regulating group of elite coaches who provide accountability to clients and the coaching profession as a whole. They pursue and complete rigorous education and practice requirements that provide unquestioned legitimacy to their commitment to excellence in coaching.

      There are various application paths to choose from. Review the requirements on ICF website to determine which path best fits you based on your training and objectives. The below is to support you on your Journey.

      ACC

      Associate Certified Coach

      Requirements

      • At least 60 hours of coach-specific training through an Level 2 or Level 1 program.
      • 10 hours of Mentor Coaching over a minimum of three months to be documented on your online application. Your Mentor Coach must be an ACC who has completed a full cycle of the credential through renewal, PCC or MCC in good standing.
      • A minimum of 100 hours (70 paid) of coaching experience with at least eight clients following the start of your coach-specific training. At least 25 of these hours must occur within the 24 months prior to submitting the application for the credential.
      • Performance evaluation (audio recording and written transcript of a coach session to be uploaded with your application).
      • Completion of the Coach Knowledge Assessment (CKA).

      PCC

      Professional Certified Coach

      Requirements

      • Completion of an entire ICF Accredited Coach Training Program (Level 1).
      • A minimum of 500 hours (440 paid) of coaching experience with at least 25 clients following the start of your coach-specific training. At least 50 of these hours must occur within the 24 months prior to submitting the application for the credential.
      • Completion of the Coach Knowledge Assessment (CKA).

      MCC

      Master Certified Coach

      Requirements

      • 200 hours of coach-specific training.
      • 10 hours of Mentor Coaching over a minimum of three months. Your Mentor Coach must be an MCC in good standing. This cannot be the same Mentor Coaching that was applied toward a previous ICF Credential application.
      • A minimum of 2,500 hours (2,200 paid) of coaching experience with at least 35 clients, following the start of your coach-specific training.
      • Performance evaluation (two audio recordings and written transcripts of coaching sessions).
      • Currently holds (or previously held) a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) Credential.
      • Complete the Coach Knowledge Assessment (CKA) unless previously passed when applying for ACC or PCC.
